2.2 Application Process
2.2.1 Approval Process
All membership applications are subject to approval by the Club Management Team. The club reserves the right to accept or decline any application at its discretion, without obligation to provide a reason.
2.2.2 Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the club’s student, residency, affiliation, and other eligibility requirements as outlined for the specific membership category. Proof of address or membership at another golf club may be required where applicable.
2.2.3 Application Review
Applications will be reviewed based on availability, compliance with club policies, and suitability for membership.
2.2.4 Interview or Introduction Round
The club may require applicants to attend a skills-based assessment or a round of golf with a designated club representative prior to approval.
2.2.5 Payment & Activation
Membership becomes active only upon full payment of applicable fees and dues. If an application is declined, any payments made in advance will be refunded in full.
2.2.6 Misrepresentation
Any false or misleading information provided during the application process may result in immediate rejection or, if discovered later, termination of membership without refund.
2.2.6 Club Rules & Conduct
Approved members must adhere to the club’s rules, code of conduct, and etiquette standards. Failure to comply may result in suspension or termination of membership.
2.2.6 Review & Amendments
The club reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Applicants will be notified of any material changes affecting the application process.
2.3 Membership Fees & Payment
2.3.1 Fee Structure & Payment Obligations
All members are required to pay an annual membership fee, which is reviewed periodically by the Club.
2.3.2 Payment Methods
Membership fees must be paid in full by the specified deadline each year or via an approved installment plan. Payments can be made online or directly at the club office using debit/credit cards. In certain cases, where approved by the club, direct bank transfers (BACS) are accepted. Cash is not accepted.
2.3.3 Membership Add-Ons
Payments for any membership add-ons, such as affiliation fees, clubhouse credit, locker rental, locker key deposit, and trolley storage, must be paid upfront. These fees are not eligible for installment payment plans.
2.3.4 Installment Plans
Limited membership categories may offer an installment payment option. These plans are only available to members within the applicable category, and other categories must pay the full amount upfront.
2.3.5 Fee Adjustments
The Club reserves the right to adjust membership fees annually. Any changes will be communicated to members with reasonable notice before the renewal deadline.
2.4 Late Payment Penalties & Non-Payment Consequences
2.4.1 Grace Period
Members who fail to pay their subscription by the due date will receive a 7-day grace period to settle their account.
2.4.2 Suspension of Membership
If payment is not received after the grace period, membership privileges, including playing rights and clubhouse access, will be suspended until payment is made.
2.4.3 Termination of Membership
If fees remain unpaid 7 days after the expiry of the grace period (i.e., 14 days from the original due date), the Club reserves the right to suspend or terminate the membership without further notice.
2.4.4 Unauthorised Use During Suspension
Members who continue to use the club facilities or course during a suspension will have their membership terminated immediately.
2.5 Renewals
2.5.1 Renewal Notification
Membership renewals are due annually, and members will be notified of the renewal fee and payment deadline at least 30 days before their membership expires.
2.5.2 Member Responsibility for Timely Payment
Members are responsible for ensuring their renewal payment is made on time. The Club may send a reminder for renewal, but failure to pay by the renewal deadline may result in a lapse of membership and loss of access to club facilities.
2.5.3 Grace Period & Rejoining Fees
In the event of a membership lapse, a grace period may apply. If the membership is not renewed within this period, a rejoining fee may apply.
2.5.4 Changes in Fees at Renewal
The Club reserves the right to alter membership fees at the time of renewal. Members will be informed of any changes prior to the renewal deadline.
2.5.5 Outstanding Debts
Membership will not be renewed if there are any outstanding debts from previous membership periods. Members must settle all dues before renewal can be processed.
2.6 Resignation and Termination
2.6.1 Resignation
Members wishing to resign must refer to the Club’s Resignation Policy.
2.6.2 Termination
The Club has the right to terminate membership due to breach of rules, non-payment or misconduct. For more details, refer to the Termination Policy.
2.6 Refunds & Cancellations
2.6.1 Non-Refundable Fees
Membership fees and payments are non-refundable once paid, except at the discretion of the Club under exceptional circumstances.
2.6.2 Cancellation Policy
If a member chooses to cancel their membership before the term ends, no refunds will be provided, and they remain liable for any outstanding balance if paying by direct debit before cancellation takes effect.
2.6.3 Termination of Membership
The Club reserves the right to terminate a membership if the member fails to comply with the club's rules, payment obligations, or any other policies outlined in the terms and conditions.
2.7 Membership Statuses
• Active: The membership is valid and in good standing.
• Suspended: The membership has been temporarily placed on hold. This may be due to unpaid fees, disciplinary action, or other circumstances as determined by the club.
• Medical Leave: The membership is paused due to a medical condition preventing the member from playing.
• Terminated: The club has terminated the membership, typically due to a breach of rules, misconduct, or non-payment.
• Resigned: The member has voluntarily ended their membership at renewal stage.

3.1.1 Additional notes
• Club hospitality services may close earlier if customer activity is low or it is commercially unviable to remain open.
• Drinking-Up Time: A 30-minute drinking-up period is allowed after the bar closes.
• Terrace Area: Closes at dusk during winter (Nov–Mar), and at 10:30PM during other times.
3.2 Dress Code In The Clubhouse
Members, guests, and visitors are expected to maintain a smart-casual standard of dress in the clubhouse at all times. Members must ensure guests adhere to the dress code.
3.2.1 Permitted Attire
• Smart casual clothing, including tailored trousers, chinos, and smart jeans.
• Collared shirts, polo shirts, or smart t-shirts .
• Sweaters and hoodies may be worn, provided they are not overly casual in appearance.
• Golf attire is permitted, provided it is clean and presentable.
• Smart trainers, loafers, deck shoes, sandals/flip-flops or formal footwear.
• Caps and hats are permitted, though preferred to be off when in the clubhouse
• Club-branded or golf-branded apparel is acceptable.
3.2.2 Not-Permitted Attire
• Tracksuits and gym wear.
• Cargo shorts
• Workwear, such as high-visibility vests or industrial clothing.
• Dirty or excessively worn clothing.
• Wet or muddy clothing.
• Golf shoes with spikes
3.3 Bill Settlements and Club Accounts
4.3.1 All bills must be settled before leaving the premises.
3.3.2 Member Club Accounts cannot have a balance below £0.00.
3.3.3 Only the registered member is permitted to use the membership card and account.
3.4 Car Park Policy
3.4.1 ANPR Monitoring
Our car parks are monitored 24/7 with Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology by a separate Management Company.
Any Parking Charge Notices (PCNs) must be appealed directly to the issuing authority. Wanstead Golf Club (WGC) has no access to PCN details and does not have the authority to handle appeals.
3.4.2 Inner Car Park Access
Full and Midweek members are permitted to use the Inner Car Park with their registered vehicle. Vehicles are expected to be parked during visits to the Club and must not be left on the premises for extended periods.
All other members must use the Visitor Car Park at the front and follow the Visitor Car Park Access instructions.
3.4.3 Visitor Car Park Access
Members and Visitors using the front visitor car park must validate their vehicle registration at the tablet at reception on arrival. Failure to do so will result in a PCN.
3.4.3 Registering your VRN for the Inner Car Park
Members will be required to provide their vehicle registration number (VRN) to the Office team in order to qualify for a fob to access through the barrier.
The office team will whitelist the vehicle with the Management Company.
3.4.2 Alternative Vehicles for Full & Midweek Members
If full and midweek members want to use a different vehicle other than the one whitelisted with the club, they will be required to register their vehicle on the visitor registration tablet at reception
If full and midweek members want to change the vehicle whitelisted, they can contact the office and must wait for confirmation before accessing the car park.
3.5 Food and Beverage Policy
• Only food and beverages purchased from the clubhouse may be consumed on the premises.
• Personal food or drinks are not permitted in the clubhouse.
• Events must be catered by the club’s internal restaurant/bar; Special catering requests will only be considered if the Club is unable to accommodate the request internally, and must receive prior approval.
• The club assumes no liability for food taken off-site.
3.6 Smoking and Vaping
Smoking and vaping are prohibited within the Clubhouse.
Permitted on the terrace until 10:30PM; after this time, it may only take place in the Inner Car Park.
3.7 Mobile Phones
Mobile phones should be used discreetly. Calls should be brief and non-disruptive, and loud broadcasts such as music or videos are not permitted.
3.8 Golf Clubs & Bags
Golf clubs and bags should be stored in designated areas such as locker rooms, bag stores or in front of the pro-shop, and not on the ground floor of the clubhouse.
4. Club Rules and Conduct
4.1 Expected Behaviour
4.1.1 All members and their guests are required to comply with the Club’s Terms and Conditions, policies, and safety guidelines at all times.
4.1.2 Breaches of Club rules may result in the following disciplinary actions, at the discretion of the Club General Manager or an authorised representative:
• Verbal or written warning
• Suspension
• Termination of membership (no refund)
4.1.3 Members are responsible for treating all club facilities with respect and may be liable for any damages caused. Any damage caused by a member or their guest may result in liability for repair or replacement costs.
4.1.4 Members must conduct themselves in a respectful and socially appropriate manner at all times, including when communicating with staff, fellow members, guests, and visitors.
4.1.5 A valid tee-time and check-in at the Pro Shop is required before using the golf course. Unauthorised use of the course may result in disciplinary action.
4.1.6 Members must follow reasonable instructions from club staff.
4.1.7 The possession, use, or distribution of illegal drugs on club premises is strictly prohibited.
4.2 Disciplinary Procedures
4.2.1 Members
Any complaints or allegations of misconduct shall be reviewed by the General Manager or an appointed disciplinary person. The Club reserves the right to take appropriate action, which may include:
• Issuing a formal written warning;
• Suspending membership for a specified period;
• Terminating membership without refund.
Members have the right to appeal within 10 business days in writing.
Appeals will be reviewed by the Club General Manager or a designated individual or panel. If a panel is appointed, it will consist of three eligible individuals selected by the Club GM, which may include the Club Owner, Club Captain, a Senior Staff Member, or a Member-at-Large. Anyone involved in the original decision or with a personal connection to the parties will be excluded. All decisions are final.
4.2.2 Member Guests
Guests must follow all club rules and conduct standards. Misconduct may result in:
• Immediate removal from premises
• Restricted future access
• Disciplinary action for the hosting member
4.3 Drug & Intoxication Policy
• The use, possession, or distribution of illegal drugs on club premises is prohibited, with immediate disciplinary action including suspension or expulsion for violators.
• Excessive alcohol consumption leading to disruptive behaviour may result in removal from the premises.
4.4 Dog Policy
• Dogs are allowed in the Sports Bar and on the terrace only, provided they are well-behaved and on a lead.
• Dogs may accompany golfers on social rounds but are not allowed during competitions.
• Members walking dogs on the course must stay on paths and keep dogs on leads.
5. Course Rules & Etiquette
5.1 Bookings, Guests & General Play
5.1.1 Tee Time Bookings
• Members may book tee times up to one month in advance.
• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to tee time.
• Late arrivals will be accommodated when possible but preferred time slots are not guaranteed.
5.1.2 No-Show Policy
A "three-strike" rule applies. After three no-shows, members may be charged up to 50% of the visitor green fee. Repeated offenses may lead to booking restrictions.
5.1.3 Guest Policy
• Members may invite the same guest up to 10 times per membership year.
• Maximum 3 guests per round, subject to guest fees.
• Beyond 10 visits, guests must pay the standard visitor green fee.
5.1.4 General Conduct
Members must follow booking etiquette and be respectful toward other players and staff.
Members must have their bag tag on display at all times while on the course.
5.2 Pace of Play & Course Marshals
5.2.1 Maintaining Pace
• Aim to complete 18 holes in under 4.5 hours (excluding competitions).
• Keep pace with the group ahead; allow faster groups to play through.
Be ready to play when it’s your turn. Continuous putting is encouraged where practical.
5.2.2 Marshal Authority
• Course Marshals (typically the Club Pro) may:
• Ask to see member bag tags
• Request proof of green fee purchase
• Request faster play
• Enforce rules
• Direct players to repair damage
• Ask individuals to leave the course for serious breaches
Failure to comply with Marshal instructions may result in disciplinary action.
5.3 Player Conduct & Courtesy
5.3.1 Respect for All
• All players must treat members, guests, staff, and visitors with respect and courtesy.
• Abusive or disruptive behavior may lead to removal and disciplinary action.
5.3.2 On-Course Etiquette
Maintain appropriate noise levels and avoid distractions during others’ shots.
5.4 Course Care Responsibilities
5.4.1 Player Responsibilities
All players must take responsibility for maintaining the quality and playability of the course. This includes:
• Divot Repair – Players must replace and press down divots or use the seed mix provided where available.
• Bunker Raking – After playing from a bunker, players must rake the area they disturbed, ensuring a smooth surface for others. Rakes should be placed back in the designated areas, face down.
• Pitch Mark Repair – Players must repair any pitch marks on greens using a proper repair tool.
5.4.2 Enforcement
Failure to follow course care responsibilities may result in a warning or further action by club officials.
5.5 Safety, Signage & Boundaries
5.5.1 Out of Bounds
Players must report out-of-bounds balls to the Office or Club Pro post-round.
Extra care is needed near the 2nd and 17th fairways. Failure to report may result in termination of membership.
5.5.2 Signage Compliance
Obey all course signage including:
• No Entry, Trolley Restrictions, and Cart Path Only areas
• Safety notices (e.g., blind shots, restricted zones)
5.5.3 Player Safety
Players must play safely and shout “FORE” when necessary. The Club accepts no liability for injuries caused by unsafe play.
5.6 Dress Code on the Course
Wanstead Golf Club embraces traditional golf attire while accommodating modern, appropriate golf wear. The dress code applies to all areas of the course, including practice greens and the driving range.The club encourages members to dress in a way that respects the traditions of golf while allowing for individual comfort and self-expression.
Acceptable Attire:
• Collared shirts or modern alternatives
• Tailored shorts, golf trousers, skorts
• Athletic leggings (paired with suitable golf top)
• Golf-appropriate outerwear including hoodies designed for golf
• Golf shoes
Unacceptable Attire:
• Football shirts, graphic tees, tank tops
• Jeans, gym shorts, cargo shorts, beachwear
• Clothing with offensive language or logos
5.7 Practice Areas
• The main practice area is available during course open hours, unless booked for lessons.
• On the Putting/Chipping Greens, a maximum of three balls is recommended.
• All aids and balls must be collected after use.
5.8 Buggies & Trolleys
5.8.1 Buggies
• With approval and weather permitting, year-round use is permitted for members with medical needs.
• April–October: Buggies may be booked for social rounds, weather permitting.
• Must follow designated routes and avoid tees, greens, bunkers.
• October–April: Use restricted to medically approved users only.
5.8.2 Trolleys
• Manual and electric trolleys permitted year-round, weather permitting.
• Must stay off tees, greens, and bunkers, and follow paths near 12th, 15th, and 16th greens.
5.9 Course Maintenance & Play Rules
5.9.1 Maintenance
All players must actively maintain course conditions (divots, tees, pitch marks, bunkers).
5.9.2 Lost Balls
Limit searches to 3 minutes. Keep pace and let faster groups play through.
5.9.3 GUR & No Play Zones
• Relief is optional from GUR, but mandatory from No Play Zones.
• Relief must be taken within one club length of the nearest point of full relief.
• Temporary Local Rules may define drop zones.
6. Golf & Competition Rules
6.1 Conduct & Etiquette
All players must uphold golf’s values of integrity, respect, and care for the course:
• Integrity: Follow the Rules of Golf honestly and apply penalties when required.
• Respect: Play promptly, ensure others’ safety, and avoid distractions.
• Course Care: Replace divots, repair pitch marks, rake bunkers, avoid damage, and dispose of litter.6.2 Handicaps & Score Submission

6.2 .1 Handicap Management
WGC manages members’ Handicap Indexes through the World Handicap System (WHS). Indexes are based on the best 8 of your last 20 qualifying scores and shown on the Club App.
6.2.2 Submitting Scores
• Register your intention to submit a score before starting your round.
• Submit scores by midnight on the day of play.
• Use the Club App, clubhouse computers, or England Golf App.
• For other courses, use the England Golf App.
• Failure to submit results in a penalty score.
6.2.3 New Members – Getting a Handicap
Submit at least 54 holes (any combination of 9 or 18) to receive an initial Handicap Index, based on the lowest of 3 rounds minus two strokes.
6.2.4 What Counts as a Valid Score
• Must follow the Rules of Golf.
• Format must be authorised.
• 18-hole rounds: complete at least 10 holes.
• 9-hole rounds: must complete all 9.
• Score must be verified by another player.
• Course must have valid Course and Slope Ratings.
6.3 Competitions
Prize eligibility: Members must have recorded at least 8 qualifying scores within the 12 months prior to the event. It is the responsibility of each member to verify their own eligibility. Wanstead Golf Club reserves the right to disqualify any winner who does not meet the criteria. No refunds will be issued.
6.3.1 Honours Board Competitions
• Division 1: Handicap Index ≤ 18.4 (Men) / 36.4 (Women) – eligible for Honours Board.
• Division 2: Handicap Indexes Between 18.5 - 36.4 (Men) / 36.5 - 54 (Women) - not eligible unless allowed by specific competition rules.
• Division 3: Higher Indexes ≥ 36.5-54 (Men)
6.3.2 Monthly Medals & Stableford
• Open to all members.
• Division 1: Handicap caps (28.4 men / 36.4 women).
• Division 2: Handicap caps > (28.5 men / 36.5 women).
• Full details and exceptions will be in individual competition notices.
6.3.3 Knockouts (Men’s, Ladies’, Mixed)
• Open to Full Members.
• Handicap caps apply, but higher index members may enter (index will be capped at 18.4 men / 36.4 women).
• Matches must begin from 1st tee. First-named player/team must offer 3 match dates (2 on different weekends).
• All square matches continue from 1st hole until a winner emerges.
• Results must be reported or both players risk disqualification.
• Entries and fees due before the draw. Optional sweepstakes not open to under-16s.
6.4 Use of Buggies in Competitions
6.4.1 Player Rules
Buggies may only be used by players with:
• A disability (per the Equality Act 2010), or
• Medical exemption (must provide evidence).
6.4.2 Sharing
Sharing is not permitted unless authorised.
6.4.3 Exceptions
The Competition Manager may allow use for the second round of 36-hole events.
6.5 Playing Times and Restrictions

6.5.2 Day of the Week Restrictions
Monday to Thursday (Excluding Bank Holidays)
• Play may start from either the 1st or 10th tee. However, players starting at the 10th must give way to those approaching from the 9th.
• Players transitioning from the back 9 to the 1st tee to complete their round should alternate with those waiting to start on the 1st tee.
• Cutting in at the 6th is allowed, but players must immediately give way to those playing a full round.
Friday to Sunday and Bank Holidays
• Social matches must give way to any official Competition of the Day.
• Cutting in at the 6th tee is not allowed on weekends or bank holidays until after 5:00 p.m.
6.6 Score Submissions in Competitions
• All rounds must begin on the 1st tee unless specified otherwise.
• 3-ball play preferred (as noted in competition details).
6.7 Prize Fund
• 70% of competition entry fees are awarded directly to competition winners, after the deduction of applicable administrative fees. These funds may cover:
• Competition prizes
• Trophy engraving
• Honours Board updates
• Prize winners' meals at the Annual Presentation
• Other competition-related expenses
• 30% of entry fees are retained by the Club to support the operating costs associated with running competitions.
6.8 Guest Policy
6.8.1 Guest Access and Play Limits
• Unlimited guest invites.
• Discounted guest rate: Max 10 rounds/year, not more than once every 30 days.
• Further rounds: Pay full Visitor rate.
• Members must ensure guests follow dress code and behaviour standards.
6.8.2 Guest Play Time Restrictions
• Off-Peak (Mon–Thu): May play anytime during course hours .
• Peak (Fri–Sun & Holidays): From 11:30 AM.
Members’ guests are generally welcome to play during off-peak hours without restriction. During peak times, access may be limited and is subject to tee time availability. Priority will be given to members during particularly busy periods, and the guest policy may be adjusted at short notice to reflect demand.
6.9 Pace of Play Guidelines
To maintain a steady pace of play, please follow these guidelines:
• Keep Pace: Aim to keep up with the group in front of you, rather than just staying ahead of the group behind.
• Allow Faster Players Through: If you fall behind by more than one hole, invite the group behind to play through. Similarly, if it’s clear that the group behind is playing faster, allow them to pass.
• Lost Balls: If you lose a ball, immediately call through the group behind while you search. Note that you have a maximum of 3 minutes to locate a lost ball.
• Be Ready: Walk briskly between shots, and position your trolley, buggy, or bag between the green and the next tee before putting. Record scores while others are teeing off, and be prepared to play when it’s your turn.
6.10 Local Rules
Local rules can be found on the Club website and linked via a QR code on our Scorecards. Any temporary local rules will be posted on the website and communicated to members via email and the club app.
6.11 Penalties
Breaches of the Rules of Golf or any conduct contrary to the spirit of the game may result in penalties, including disqualification.
6.12 Cancellations and Refunds
Members may cancel their competition entry up until 6:00 AM on the day prior to the event to receive a full refund.
Cancellations made after this time are non-refundable.
7. Equipment Rental Terms
7.1 Eligibility & Booking
• Rental of golf carts, clubs, and trolleys is available to members, guests and visitors.
• Equipment must be booked in advance, subject to availability.
7.2 Usage & Care
• Renters are responsible for using the equipment properly and returning it in the same condition.
• Any damage caused beyond normal wear and tear may result in repair or replacement charges.
• Golf carts must be driven responsibly, adhering to designated paths and course rules.
7.3 Liability & Safety
• The Club is not responsible for any injury or damage resulting from improper use of rented equipment.
• Golf carts may only be operated by individuals aged 18 or older with a valid driving licence.
• No more than two passengers are permitted per golf cart.
7.4 Returns & Late Fees
• All rented equipment must be returned by the agreed-upon time.
• Late returns may be subject to additional fees.
7.5 Loss & Damage
• Renters are liable for lost, stolen, or damaged equipment.
• Any loss or damage must be reported immediately to the Club Office.
7.6 Cancellations & Refunds
• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to qualify for a refund.
• No refunds will be issued for unused rental time.
7.7 Course Conditions & Restrictions
• The Club reserves the right to restrict golf cart usage due to weather or course conditions.
• If rental is cancelled by the Club, a full refund or alternative booking will be offered.
8. Health & Safety
8.1 General Safety
• Members and guests must follow all safety rules. Unsafe behaviour may result in disciplinary action.
• Be aware of surroundings, especially when swinging clubs or using golf carts.
8.2 First Aid & Emergencies
• First aid kits are available in key locations; injuries must be reported to staff.
• Follow all emergency procedures and staff instructions, including severe weather protocols.
8.3 Golf Course Safety
• Wait for the group ahead to clear before playing.
• Call “FORE!” if a ball is hit toward others.
• Operate golf carts responsibly and follow designated paths.
8.4 Personal Responsibility
Members and guests are responsible for their own safety.
The club is not liable for injuries caused by rule violations or negligence.

10. Liability Waivers & Risk Acknowledgments
10.1 Assumption of Risk
Golf involves inherent risks (e.g. being struck by a ball or club, tripping on uneven terrain, weather hazards). By entering the course or facilities, all players and guests acknowledge and accept these risks.
10.2 Personal Responsibility
Players, members, and guests are responsible for their own conduct, ensuring they behave safely, follow the rules, and use equipment (including buggies) appropriately.
10.3 Buggies, Trolleys & Equipment Use
Users of hired or personal equipment accept full responsibility for safe use. The Club is not liable for injury or damage resulting from misuse or failure to follow safety guidance.
10.4 Weather-Related Hazards
Play during adverse weather (lightning, frost, heat) is at the individual’s discretion and risk. The Club may suspend play in unsafe conditions but accepts no liability if a player chooses to continue.
10.5 Children & Supervision
Parents/guardians are responsible for the supervision and safety of juniors on the course, in the clubhouse, and in practice areas.
10.6 Property Loss or Damage
The Club accepts no liability for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings left on the course, in the clubhouse, car park, or lockers.
10.7 First Aid & Emergency Response
Basic first aid may be available; however, members and guests are encouraged to seek medical attention independently. The Club is not liable for delays or outcomes related to medical emergencies.
10.8 Insurance Recommendation
Members and guests are advised to carry personal liability and accident insurance while participating in golf or club activities.

12. Legal, Privacy & Disputes
12.1 Data Protection & Privacy
We collect, store, and use member data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws. We process your personal data for membership administration, booking management, security, service improvements, and, with your consent, marketing communications.
We may share personal data with third parties when necessary to provide services or comply with legal obligations. This includes:
• Government & Regulatory Bodies – HMRC, law enforcement, the Financial Conduct Authority, the Prudential Regulation Authority, the Ombudsman, the Information Commissioner’s Office, and the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.
• Service Providers – Debt recovery agencies, financial institutions, IT service providers, backup and hosting providers, document storage providers, and other back-office support functions.
• Legal Compliance & Security – If required by law or to protect our rights and property.
• Business Transactions – In the event of a merger, transfer, or sale of assets, we may be required to share relevant data with the involved third parties.
Members can opt out of marketing communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions or contacting us directly.
12.2 Photographs and Video Consent
By becoming a member of Wanstead Golf Club, you acknowledge and agree that the club may take photographs and videos of you during club activities and events for the purpose of marketing and promotional materials, including but not limited to use on our website, social media, brochures, and other marketing platforms.
Members over the age of 18 hereby give their consent to the use of these images and videos. If you do not wish to be included in such photographs or videos, you may opt out by notifying the club in writing at office@wansteadgolfclub.com.
This consent is provided voluntarily and can be revoked at any time by contacting the club directly. If you are a member under the age of 18, your parent or guardian must provide written consent for the use of your image or video.
12.3 Changes to Terms & Conditions
The Club reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will take effect immediately upon publication, unless stated otherwise.
Members will be notified of significant changes via email, the website, or official club communications. Continued use of club facilities after the effective date of any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms & Conditions.
12.4 Complaints & Dispute Resolution
Members and guests should report any concerns to club management via email at office@wansteadgolfclub.com. The club will acknowledge complaints within 5 business days and aim to resolve issues no later than 14 business days following acknowledgement, where possible. A written response will be provided outlining any actions taken.
For disputes regarding disciplinary matters, the management team will review the case. If necessary, an appeal process may be available, as outlined in the club’s disciplinary policy. The management team’s decision will be final unless otherwise stated.
